One Ethernet Cable with NDI® | HX Technology
There is no need for multiple cables and complicated setup. Single-wire concept helps you to transfer video, audio, power, tally, and control over only one Ethernet cable.
Power Over Ethernet (PoE) functionality allows you transmit all the information and power over only one cable.
This makes installation easy as you only have to install one cable. The disadvantage is that the NDI system requires a good quality network switch and has frame delay. Generally its suitable for exisitng networks. An existing network would need to be properly tested. Frame delay is significant if you are going to use the cameras for a live feed within the same space,
